SHREE SIDDHIVINAYAK APANG PUNARVASAN SHIKSHAN SANSTHA NASHIK IS ESTABLISED AS ON 25-February-2010 AS A Trust (Non-Government) IN MAHARASHTRA.

Shri Siddhivinayak Special School was established in 2010. The founder was personally inspired by their own experience, as their sister has Down Syndrome. While facing the challenges of supporting her, they realized that society lacked sufficient facilities, trained teachers, and appropriate educational opportunities for children with special needs. This personal experience became the driving force behind starting the school.

Initial Challenges:
Starting the school came with several obstacles:

  • Financial Constraints: Limited initial funds made it difficult to build infrastructure, purchase teaching materials, and acquire therapy equipment.

  • Shortage of Trained Staff: Finding skilled special educators and therapists for children with special needs was challenging.

  • Lack of Awareness: Society had limited understanding and empathy toward children with special needs.
